If you are a big fun of the sun and sandy beaches then your ideal summer destination would have to be Greece. You could visit any greek island you want, but let me suggest travelling to Skiathos, a Greek island in the northwest Aegean Sea, which is apart of the Sporades archipelago. You would be amazed by the island’s day and nightlife,however, there’s much more to it.
Tours are occured daily from the north new port and you can visit the island of Skopelos, where the blockbuster movie ‘Mamma Mia’ was filmed. Moreover, you won’t have to rent a car or a bike to be able to wonder around the island, since buses pass by frequently from various sport and they are true to time!
If you eventually end up planning a trip to Skiathos, I highly recommend you visiting the Koukounaries beach. Known for it’s clean blue-green waters and the golden sand, Koukounaries is the number one attraction in Skiathos, filled with tourists. Furthermore, you definitely shouldn’t miss on visiting BU, the all-day cafe-bar, which is located in the old port at the Venezian Bourtzi allowing a breathtaking view to all the visitors.
